Spread the Word

Updated: Aug 19, 2019

Walden University Women in Tech are on a mission to encourage girls in technology!

Do you have an upcoming girls STEM or technology event or after school program? Check out their website for a FREE digital package to help you promote your event.

The Encouraging Girls Project was created to provide organizations, libraries, schools, girls clubs, and the like with free digital templates such as banners, posters, pamphlets and other marketing tools to encourage girls to follow or spark their interests in technology.

Diversity and Inclusion

Being a woman in the technology field is important. Based on the U.S. Department of Labor, did you know only 25% of the computing occupations and 11% Information Security workforce are women in the U.S. is held by women? Therefore, the Encouraging Girls project helps to spread the word to solve the gender and skills gap in STEM. #encouraginggirls #WWITEG

Let's encourage the girls and women in technology together!
